Happy Chinese New Year (Lunar New Year)

It's the year of the Pig.
Pigs have a beautiful personality and are blessed with good fortune in life.

The Pig is the 12th of all zodiac animals. According to one myth, the Jade Emperor said the order would be decided by the order in which they arrived to his party. The Pig was late because he overslept (Probably hung over lol). Another story says that a wolf destroyed his house (Three Little pigs connection maybe?). He had to rebuild his home before he could set off. When he arrived, he was the last one and could only take 12th place.

The Pig is also associated with the Earthly Branch, and the hours 9–11 in the night. In terms of yin and yang, the Pig is yin. In Chinese culture, pigs are the symbol of wealth.

Their chubby little faces and big ears are signs of fortune or wealth as well.
Chinese New Year is the Chinese festival that celebrates the beginning of a new year on the traditional Chinese calendar. The festival is usually referred to as the Spring Festival in mainland China, and is one of several Lunar New Years in Asia.
